'Create. Share. Engage.' is a podcast about portfolios for learning and more for educators, learning designers, and managers keen on integrating portfolios with their education and professional development practices.

This new podcast is all about sharing portfolio stories from around the world. The first episode will air on Wednesday, 28 September 2022. You'll hear from Lisa Donaldson about her portfolio journey and quickly to 6,000 students using portfolios at Dublin City University within six weeks. Welcome to 'Create. Share. Engage.' This is the podcast about portfolios for learning and more for educators, learning designers, and managers keen on integrating portfolios with their education and professional development practices. 'Create. Share. Engage.' is brought to you by the Mahara team at Catalyst IT. My name is Kristina Hoeppner, and I will be your host.

When we want learners to create portfolios, we typically ask them to tell us their story, to tell us their learning story. I would like to bring stories from people involved in portfolio practice to you for you to learn how others are using portfolios, what they are thinking, why they engage in the practice, and what tips they have to share. You will hear from practitioners, researchers, learning designers, students, and many, many more. They will showcase how varied portfolio practice is around the world in formal education, non-formal and informal learning contexts, and professional development.

While many of my guests use Mahara, it's not all about the technology. We will particularly explore why portfolios are used and what influence they have on the overall learning or professional development experience.

Every two weeks starting on Wednesday, the 28th of September 2022 in Aotearoa New Zealand, which is still Tuesday, the 27th of September in other parts of the world, you will hear a story from the portfolio community.
